Rilan the ROCKER!

Another Riding Rilan Day!!!

So on Monday my aunt Jana and cousin Bretton came over and spend the night, he had come up to get a bike for Bretton and needed a rest in between driving since Bretton is still hurt. We had so much fun just hanging out and Bretton rubbed off on Rilan a little more. Rilan has so much fun playing "braps" with him. Rilan has this little bike that doesn't have any petals so Bretton got him to just sit on it and push it with his legs and act like it was a motorcycle. It was freaking hillarous watching him ride it. He would get on it and then kick his leg like he was kick starting it and make noises and then get ready on the start line and then just gun it. He played like that all day yesterday. He couldn't even hardly take a nap he was so anxious to get back out side and play some more. I didn't get very many good pictures from the riding, I need to video it! Thanks Bretton for helping him love motocross just a little more! :) Oh and be sure to check out the pancake post below! :) 2 post in one day! WOW!

Pancakes

Rilan has really gotten to where he loves pancakes. Every morning he will ask for either pancakes or eggs. We ran out of batter the other day and he got really mad at me! I guess I should know better than to run out of batter! While we were grocery shopping the other day I was in the cooler section by the creamer and milk and I saw this can that said "Batter Blaster" I was like what in the heck so I picked it up it was spray pancake/waffle mix! I was hooked before I even started reading! We always have to make a big batch so we mix it right and have wayyyy to many pancakes so I thought that this would be perfect make as few or as many as you want and no bowls to clean up just the pan you cooked them in. Plus they are organic. I love this idea why didn't someone think of it sooner, or why didn't I find it sooner! Rilan is loving having pancakes again for breakfast!

Riding Rilan

We finally got Rilan to ride on his 4-wheeler tonight. We were all up in his bedroom upstairs and he found the gear that my brother got him for Christmas. He wanted to put on his brap gloves so we did. He started running around in circles around his room and through the "toy room" I was cracking up! So then I asked him if he wanted to wear his brap shirt and he actually let me put it on him, he got even more hyper about it. Dax and I were literally crying it was so funny. Then he though he needed a helmet, which he doesn't have and found a Dallas Cowboys cap that he decided would work just as well. I came downstairs to get the camera and he wanted to come down too so he started running around our room, through the living room,kitchen, and dining room yelling braaaappp! Then he decided it was time to actually get on the 4-wheeler and rode it back and fourth from the living room to the kitchen. We were beaming with pride. We just pray he keeps up this craziness and wants to really start riding soon! He has really gotten to where he is playing with his motorcycles a lot more since we got home. I wish we could have videoed it. It was freaking hillarious! Enjoy a few of the pictures!

Breckenridge in Review...

We had an amazing time in Breckenridge. It was the most beautiful place I have ever seen, and now I want out of Texas! :) We got there on Thursday about 1 and drove through Denver a little bit, got to see where Dax used to live and went to school at the Art Institute, and the Capital Building. Then we headed off to Breckenridge. Gosh what a beautiful drive. We got there ate lunch and went to the grocery store to get a few things and then decided to see if we could check in early! We could so we went to the condo and got all settled in and then hung out for a bit waiting on our friends to arrive. Ethan and Leslie who live down the road from us were there along with Ethan's sister Brooke and her husband Andy and then a couple friend of Ethan and Leslie's from college Kristin and her finace' Alex. Dax's brother also came for a few days. We had an amazing time getting to know everyone. On Friday we all got up and hit the mountain. WoW it was an crazy packed morning. It took me 2 hours to get down the first run! Yes 2 HOURS! I was hurting so bad and was so numb it couldn't even feel my booty! So I let Dax and Davin take a run while I waited at the base for them. Then we rode back up the lift over to another part of the mountain to meet our friends for lunch. It took forever, but not as long as the run before. We were suppose to meet them at 12:30 and I think we got there at 2! But we had a long way to go and it was all green's which was really hard on a snowboard. I was hurting so bad my knees were killing me, I went to the potty to get all of the ice out of my pants when I looked down and my knees and all I saw was bruises and they were so swollen. So after we ate we got a bus to take us back to the condo and Dax was going to go and board a little more before the lifts closed. On Saturday we got up again, and made a second day of it. It went much better. It took me 20 minutes to get down the same run that took me 2 hours the day before. Kristin was with me that days with made it much nicer. She is a beginner too! We just knew how the other one was feeling so it made it nice. We went down a few times ate lunch and then came back down and Kristin and I took a bus back to the condo to hang out and cut her hair! :) We were both hurting but feeling so good about what we had done. We couldn't wait to get up and go again in the morning! That night we all just hung out at the condo and then walked down town for a bit. We got a few souvenirs for Rilan, and Brooke wanted some new goggles and I found a place with tons! That night I could not sleep at all my neck was killing me, I had a pretty bad fall on Saturday that made me pull a muscle in my neck. So I decided not to go out and Dax had hit a jump weird and popped out his knee again so he was going to stay with me and we were going to just go and walk down Main Street and see what we could find to bring back to our parents. Kristin took a pretty bad fall too and bruised a rib so she hung out with us. We had so much fun just hanging out that day. On Sunday night we all just stayed at the condo and hung out. We had a blast, and came up with some pretty crazy ways to play Jinga! :) Thanks Andy! haha It was defiantly a trip I will never forget. We made some awesome new friends and can't wait to do it again next year!

umm he won't wear a lot. He hates things with big logos on them. He is more picky about clothes than I am!

no team sports with the school just raced motocross.

he spends hours on the computer. all the time day and night

he is good at everything, and it is sometimes annoying! haha I want to do something better than him, but that will never happen! haha

either, he can do both.

anywhere in the mountains! we want to move to Denver sooo bad!

far? wait I dont remember he just cant see for crap is all I know! haha

he was going to go to school to be an orthopedic surgeon, but quit 3 semesters in so I'd say that or own his own motocross business.

He always puts Rilan and I first, and I love how he is so passionate about everything he does. He puts his whole heart into everything. There is much more but I will stop here! :)

Back to Reality!

We have had so much fun this weekend! This is a view of the mountain that we got to have a blast on snowboarding. I am pretty beat up. I have a few brusies on my knees from falling so much and about 6 on my butt! I took a beating. My neck is all out of wack but it was totally worth it. I can actually snowboard now! We had so much fun with everyone! I am so ready to see Rilan but I am going to miss all the fun we have had getting to just hang out and chill. I am already trying to talk Dax into planning another trip to the mountains again before winter is over. I want to try and board again so I don't forget and so maybe next time I can enjoy it a bit more without hurting so much. I will post more pictures in the coming days. I am off to bed so we can drive home in the morning!

We made it to Beckenridge. It is absolutely beautiful!!! We are sitting in the condo hanging out right now. I am about to shower and get ready to do something for the evening. I will update with pictures later!

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

So I thought that I would try and start doing Not Me Mondays. So here goes my first week as a Not Me! Mondayer. Is that even a word? haha

I did not put off doing the landry all week. I did not finally do it YESTERDAY. And my chair does not finally look like this again.
I am not ready to go to Colorado this week. I am am not scared about how bad I am going to be at snowboarding.

I did not already pack for the trip, because that would mean I am not being organized.

I did not try to practice in my snowboard for over 30 minutes yesterday in my living room. Because flat carpet is just like a snowy mountain! Gosh I wish I had a picture of that!

I am not dreading being away from Rilan for 5 days.

And on that not I am not looking forward to having an adult vacation and being alone with Dax for 5 days.

Laundry...Yuck

I'm so ashamed that I am even going to show this picture! I hate laundry with all my heart, well I don't mind washing I just HATE having to put it all away. So right now this is what the chair beside our bed looks like, and the floor. That can't be a good thing for clean laundry! I really need to go and put it all away I just have a hard time getting motivated to do it so I decided to come and post about it instead of actually doing it! haha Well maybe by this evening it will all be done and put away and then I can show a picture of the chair with nothing in it! Well hope you all love laundry more than I do otherwise your chair looks like mine! If anyone wants to help put it away feel free to come on over! :)

Bag #2!

So I went and got new fabric yesterday with Rilan, he helped me pick it out! Its black and cream toile! If you can't tell. :) Good taste he has! haha! I actaually finished it last night. I started about 3 yesterday afternoon and finished about 10:30 last night. I even stopped to play for a bit and eat supper! I love this one. It turned out quite a bit better than the other one. I am in the process now of making some pouches with the same fabric. I love the inside of this bag too because they have 6 pockets in the inside and the bag is reversable. But im having problems with the straps so you would see where the straps are attached if you reversed it but I love it anyway. :)

My First Bag!!

So my Mom got me a sewing machine for Christmas, and I had yet to use it. Yesterday I got the urge to go and get some fabric and make something so this is what I ended up getting and doing. It took me all day yesterday and then until about 12:30 today to get it done. I was having serious machine problems! But I am pretty happy with the way this one turned out I think I'm going to go and get some more fabric and do it again!!
